Devonport Market is back. From Saturday 10 October, Windsor Reserve will once again fill with stalls, makers and locals for the first of five markets running through summer and into early autumn.
If you've been before, you'll know the setting does half the work. If you haven't, this is a good season to start.

Every market runs from 9am to 2pm.
Note that the December market is on a Sunday, as part of the Devonport Christmas Festival.

Devonport Market is a makers' market. The people behind the stalls are the people who made what's on them, so you're buying straight from the source.
That changes the experience. Ask how something was made and you'll get the full story, often with a few tips thrown in. Many of our stallholders are small, independent businesses, and markets like this are where they meet their customers face to face and get honest feedback on what they're making.
Expect a mix of handmade goods, gifts, homewares and local produce, with something new to find each time.
Why Windsor Reserve
Windsor Reserve sits right on the Devonport waterfront, a short walk from the ferry terminal, looking back across the harbour to the city. It's one of the best spots in Auckland for a slow Saturday morning.
Make a day of it:
- Catch the ferry from downtown and skip the parking hunt
- Grab a coffee and wander the stalls
- Stay on and explore Devonport village, the beaches or the walk up Mount Victoria
Christmas shopping, sorted
With markets in November and December, this season lines up well for Christmas. The December market is part of the Devonport Christmas Festival, so it'll be a bigger day with more going on. It's a good chance to buy gifts that are one-off, locally made, and come with a story.
